The "C" Word
Someone once said, "Too often, we get so focused on the finish line that we fail to find joy in the journey." This is Brynn's journey. You are invited to share in her fear and faith as she ventures into unfamiliar territory. Thank you, in advance, for your prayers and support for Brynn and her family. This is OUR journey. As we work together and pray together, may we truly find joy along the way.

Chemo Week 5
This week was tough. That's why I haven't blogged this week. I threw up multiple times Monday through Thursday, then felt a bit tired Friday morning, but was able to successfully act in my play that night. The play was a ton of fun and I'm glad I was able to do it. On Saturday I watched a movie in the morning with my family and felt fine. We watched Big Hero 6. It was a really good movie! If you haven't seen it already I suggest you do. I then got to go roller skating with my friends at a birthday party and still felt great! I am very glad of that. This week is an easy week. I only have one drug to take one day, and I won't even make me sick! Piece of cake! I hope to go to school tomorrow and see some people, because I haven't been to school since last Thursday! That's over a week! I hope I don't fall to far behind in my classes and am able to keep going to school as much as I can. I am still on my painful shot, but might get off them tomorrow when they take my blood for counts. There's not much to update besides that. All is well.

Glad to hear that you got to work in fun stuff with family and friends. Even going thru chemo, a kid has to be a kid! Love you!
ReplyDeleteHappy to hear you're doing well! You're very bright, so I bet you'll be able to keep up with your school work just fine. Thanks for the updates. We love you!
ReplyDeleteWe really liked Big Hero 6 too! Dax loves to do the Baymax handshake now. "Blah-lah-lah-lah." Hope you are feeling better this week!
