The "C" Word
Someone once said, "Too often, we get so focused on the finish line that we fail to find joy in the journey." This is Brynn's journey. You are invited to share in her fear and faith as she ventures into unfamiliar territory. Thank you, in advance, for your prayers and support for Brynn and her family. This is OUR journey. As we work together and pray together, may we truly find joy along the way.

I Wish...
The other day while I was up at the hospital, our child-life specialist, Jill, reminded me about something very big! My wish. Make a wish foundation will grant me a wish! So, I got to thinking, what should I wish for? I talked to someone who told me that their sister went to a place called Bora Bora for her wish, and loved it!, I looked at some pictures of Bora Bora and it seemed like a lot of fun! So there's one option. Later, my mom told me that the Bundersons, a family friend of ours, went to Turks and Caicos and said it was the funnest place they've ever been! And they've been to a lot of places! There's option #2. The last thing I'm considering is one of the well known Disney cruises! So far i think Hawaii sounds best, but if you know better, say something! Comment what you think you would do if you got a wish and what you think I should for mine. Also, I had an MRI on Friday and from what we can see, my tumor has shrunk considerably. I also had a PT/CT scan yesterday just to verify. Now I'm off to surgery! I don't know when I'm having it yet, but I'll blog the date when I do. So comment below and check in soon! Thanks!

Surgery. No fun. But lots of fun on the horizon! Beach vacations are fun, fun, fun. Waves, sand, snorkeling, sight seeing. Only downside I see is if you would get bored after several days. Disney cruise. Never actually been on one. Plusses I can think of are they would have planned activities for kids, opportunities for snorkeling and such, entertainment, and food already paid for. Hmmm. What a choice. Love you!
ReplyDeleteMe again. And there is a Disney resort in Hawaii! Aulani.
ReplyDeleteI have totally loved the cruises I have been on, but I never have been on a Disney one. I bet it is even more fun. Lots of eating! I also recommend hawaii. I have only been to Oahu, but it is awesome. My favorite trip was to Grand Cayman. I think grandma and grandpa liked it better than turks and cacios. I don't think you can go wrong with any tropical paradise.
ReplyDeleteBora bora looks amazing! I have been to Turks and Caicos and it was really fun. Grand Cayman is amazing also, so beautiful and relaxing. Can you make it part of your wish that your cousins from Utah (and their parents) come with you wherever you choose?? ;-)
ReplyDeleteGrand Cayman is AWESOME. The water in the lagoon behind the house we rented had glow-in-the-dark algae that sparkled when we threw rocks and sand in the water at night. Pure magic. But whatever you pick, I'm sure you'll have a wonderful time.
ReplyDeleteHi Brynn,
ReplyDeleteIve been on a Disney Cruise through Make A Wish before and it was amazing, because Im a cancer survivor! I totally recommend The Disney Cruise to the Bahamas!
